Dr. Stacey Raffety, BSN, LAc, ND

Dr. Stacey Raffety earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Linfield Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1986. She received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, both in 1995. Dr. Raffety also completed the obstetrics residency program at NCNM. She integrates her experience and training in western, naturopathic and oriental medicine to offer a full range family practice. She incorporates diet and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, homeopathy and acupuncture, intravenous therapy in a holistic approach designed to optimize her patients’ health.
After 18 years, Dr. Raffety’s practice focuses primarily on treating patients challenged with environmental toxic induced illness, cancer, lyme disease and other life threatening diseases. She coordinated the development of our Cleansing, Detoxification program and the Stop Smoking Program. She continues to have an acupuncture practice where she focuses on balancing mind, body and spirit.

After realizing that many of the health challenges her patients were experiencing were related to their exposure to environmental toxins, Dr. Raffety studied and received advanced training in Environmental Medicine from one of the preeminent practitioners in the field. She opened the Tigard clinic to offer a comprehensive detoxification and cleansing program, and is continuing to develop treatment protocols for toxicity-related health problems.

Dr. Raffety also focuses her practice on Lyme disease. She is very active in developing innovative treatment protocols to address the chronic health manifestions of lyme disease. Her practice focuses on early idenitification as well as intregrative approaches to sucessfully treat chronic lyme disease.

Dr. Raffety has been instrumental in training naturopathic physicians in intravenous therapy. She helped develop Oregon’s IV certification program for Naturopathic Physicians. She has taught IV Therapy both at the Naturopathic College and as a co-founder of Professional IV Therapies. She is the co-author of Parental Micronutrients. Dr. Raffety has served on the boards of both the National College of Natural Medicine and the state Association of Naturopathic physicians

Steven Kasel LAc
Licensed Acupuncturist, Medical Intuitive, Energetic Healer

Steven Kasel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1980. After working as a manufacturing engineer for IBM for 9 years, he continued his education at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and received his Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1995. He is co-founder and co-owner of the Tigard Holistic Health Clinic, which he opened with Dr. Stacey Raffety in 1996.

Steven specializes in the hands on energetic aspects of Oriental Medicine. He uses acupuncture and energetic medicine in the treatment of a wide spectrum of dis-ease, both physical and emotional. He is quite adept at reading the energetic nature of the Chinese pulses, well versed in choosing effective point combinations, and often able to manipulate the body’s energy to relieve pain and achieve balance He uses acupuncture to assist n the treatment of cancer and the side effects of conventional cancer treatments. He is largely responsible for the development of the clinic facility. He has been business manager for the clinic for 10 years, and runs the clinic pharmacy.

Steven began using intuition as a diagnostic and treatment guidance tool over the past 2 years. This has proven useful in unraveling complex medical situations and developing effective treatments. Recently, Steven has begun doing hands-on energetic work and healing, sometimes in combination with acupuncture. He has successfully treated sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, stomach virus, systemic yeast, and and urinary tract infection in this manner.

Steven lives with his wife Stacey and their 14 year old son Noah. In is spare time he dabbles in home building projects, reads, meditates, watches movies and plays with his children.
